A study, which is carried by Buyshirtsonline, a UK-based supplier for corporations, such as Gildan, and Fruit of the Loom, examined over 1,000 participants. They aimed to find how the clothing colors we wear affect the way people see us. Black was the top color of choice.  

According to the researchers, people wear black when they want to woo, reassure, or impress. The survey showed that black was the first or second color in most personality characteristics, such as intelligence, confidence, sexiness, and rarely figured in negative characteristics, such as arrogance.  

Black indicates reliability and seriousness. Both men and women find it an attractive color to wear.  

Nearly half of the women and 64% of the men who took part in the survey, thought that wearing black indicates self-confidence. It is a soothing and bold color, which can be worn at both weddings and funerals.  

People who prefer wearing black are not only self-confident and intelligent. They also have other characteristics we’ve listed below. 

Vulnerable and sensitive 

People, who wear black, are unstable and sensitive. They always try to show people who they are and what they have achieved in their lives.  

Black is a religious color that symbolizes simplicity and repentance. Nuns and monks wear black to suppress the voice of the flesh and listen to the voice of the reason.  

Moreover, these people often find it hard to eliminate anxiety and stay focused.  

Do not mind if other people wear clothes in different colors
