Although trauma is never your fault, healing is your responsibility. You, as a victim, should not be blamed for suffering. But, how long you will stay trapped in the whirlwind of emotions is up to you.
Healing takes time, as it is a process that doesn’t happen overnight. You need time to find the strength that is within you and to discover your true self. Some people need only a short time to accept what has happened to them and to let go of all the negativity related to it. Others need more time and space to heal completely.
The power lies in your choice
Regardless of what has happened to you, it is not your fault. Many victims feel like they are guilty and that they even deserve the pain that others have inflicted on them.
Be sure that you didn’t deserve what you’ve gone through. So many people around the world have experienced some type of trauma. This is life and we need to learn how to get up again and come out of every negative situation as a winner.
You have the power to choose whether you will be broken and destroyed by what has happened to you, or you will overcome every obstacle, and live your life as a hero. The key to your healing is within you.
The new you
Once you decide that you no longer want to live your life as a victim of your traumas, your healing process will begin. And once the process of transformation becomes complete, you will arise as a new and better version of yourself. After winning the battle with your trauma, you will never be the same again. You will be more resilient, much stronger, and ambitious in life.
Find a support group
Getting support from people who’ve been through a similar experience in life is very important for your healing process. Accept every encouragement you receive and be grateful if you have people that show care and love for you at this stage of your life.
Dealing with trauma alone is very difficult. With the right support and encouragement, you can get over anything and become whole again.
