Instead of making a long to-do list, it is better to first write down small day-to-day tasks that you know you can accomplish. This way, you will make more achievements in a much shorter time.

6. Appreciate your efforts

If you want to be healthier, you should be more proud of yourself. Every time you complete a task appreciate your effort. Recognize that every success matters and is a powerful tool against the circle of depression. Valuing yourself more will break the chain of negative thinking, self-criticism, and overgeneralization.

7. Establish a routine

Having a daily routine will make you feel like you have control over yourself. Although this is a practical tip, try to not be very strict with your plans. Allow yourself the freedom to have more time to be creative. That should be time spent alone in nature, listening to your favorite songs, or watching your favorite movie. It could be anything you truly enjoy.
