Mouthwashes are among the best-selling products for our teeth, promising plaque removal and whiter teeth in weeks if used twice per day. Which makes perfect sense. Dentists recommend brushing our teeth after every meal, although to be honest, that’s simply impossible all of the time. Mouthwashes solved that problem perfectly, removing plaque and eliminating bacteria that cause bad breath and worse.
However, that’s not to say they’re perfectly healthy for our teeth. As a matter of fact, some brands can harm the enamel and open the door for numerous oral problems. The good news is that there’s a simple natural mouthwash that you can prepare at home that works just like commercial products, but without the nasty side effects.
