Can Baking Soda Relieve Arthritic Pain?

Baking soda is somewhat of a miracle medicine. It has been used in plenty of natural remedies in the past, and can be found in nearly any home. It truly has some miraculous uses – it can be used for cleaning, preparing meals, and for relieving numerous diseases and conditions.

In the past decade or so, baking soda has made a grand return. More and more people are using it to relieve health problems such as indigestion or for cleaning. One of its most surprising uses is the ability to relieve arthritic pain. It has been extensively studied by scientists, with many studies reporting incredible efficiency in reducing pain caused by rheumatoid arthritis.

A Problem for Millions

Arthritis is one of the main causes of pain and physical deprivation in the USA. It affects millions. Some people experience only slight pain, others are dealing with mode severe problems. While it can be treated with painkillers, that’s not a long-term solution. However, you can treat the problem effectively with the help of baking soda.

According to some preliminary studies, it can stop the inflammation in the cells which have been identified as one of the leading causes of arthritis. All you need to do is drink a glass of water with a bit of baking soda in it to fight the inflammation. The same remedy has been used for a long time to prevent acidosis and relieve the toxic effects of radiation and chemotherapy.

Why? It’s all about the neutral PH.

An Alkaline Miracle

Baking soda is a neutral (e.g. alkaline) substance that can neutralize acids. It restores the natural PH balance in our cells, effectively improving our health. Baking soda can dilate the blood vessels and stimulate the release of oxygen in the tissues, raising the PH of cells. In this way, it’s a very viable solution against health problems such as diabetes, gout, kidney stones, and even cancer.

While we can’t claim for sure that baking soda can beat cancer, there have been many documented cases where it helped. However, there’s no research to back that up, so we’d take it with a pinch of salt.

The good news is that baking soda is effective as a natural remedy against inflammation and rheumatoid arthritis. If you’re dealing with arthritic pain, it wouldn’t hurt to try it. At the very least, it’ll clean your body of toxins, preventing a host of diseases and conditions even worse than rheumatoid arthritis.
