Guava Leaves Can Improve Your Hair Health And Stop Hair Loss

Guava leaves are one of the most beneficial natural remedies for preventing hair loss and improving hair health. Thanks to their high content of vitamin B, guava leaves stimulate hair growth. Also, the antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties of guava leaves help reduce scalp inflammation, which leads to hair fall. The regular use of guava leaves can prevent hair loss and lead to healthy and glowing hair.  

How to use guava leaves to stop hair loss? 

To treat hair loss, in a liter of water, add a handful of guava leaves. Boil the water for 20 minutes. Then, let it cool down at room temperature. After the mixture cools, apply it to your hair. Massage your scalp gently. Let it stay for a few hours and then rinse your hair. Moreover, you can let it stay overnight. Apply the mixture on your hair, put on a shower cap, and wash it off when you wake up in the morning.

As we can get guava leaves very cheap during the year, we can consume them for hair care. We can use guava leaf extracted oil, fresh guava leaves, or guava powder obtained by sun-drying guava leaves and powdering them in a mixer.  

5 ways to use guava leaves for hair growth 

1. Guava hair spray for dandruff 

In a bowl of water, add 4 – 5 guava leaves and boil them for 5 minutes until the water gets another color. Let it cool and strain it. Add a couple of drops of rosemary oil to the strained mixture and mix it well. Pour the mixture into a spray bottle and use it for treating dandruff and promoting hair growth.  

2. Guava hair mask for grey hair 

In a bowl, add a tablespoon of guava leaf powder, tulsi powder, and neem leaf powder. Then, add home-made curd to form a paste. Apply the paste to your scalp and let it stay for 10 – 15 minutes. Then, wash it off.  

3. Guava oil for hair growth 

Mix a cup of unrefined coconut oil and a few drops of guava leaf essential oil. Use this mixture to massage your scalp.  

4. Guava hair serum for hair loss 

In a bowl, mix a tablespoon of Aloe Vera gel, three capsules of vitamin E, and a cup of guava leaf tea. Store this hair serum in the fridge and use it on a daily basis. Moreover, you can spray the serum on the scalp and massage it gently for a few minutes. When it dries, wash it off.  

5. Guava tea for hair growth 

In a pot, heat a cup of water and add a large guava leaf. Let it steep for a couple of minutes, strain it, and consume. It will help you treat anemia, the main cause of hair loss.
